Salvaged Mix with Zinc
This piece is a must-see in person to fully appreciate its beauty! The base or background material is crafted from a reclaimed 150-year-old copper downspout. The natural patina exhibits numerous subtleties, revealing remnant lines from its original bends. To recreate the three-dimensional shape, we flatten it out, attach wood behind it, and then affix newly created patina pieces on top of the reclaimed copper. In this particular piece, a zinc-coated copper strip is added.
Ideal for well-lit areas, this artwork pairs exceptionally well with cool colors. The natural light significantly enhances its visual appeal. It can be hung either horizontally or vertically to suit your preference.
