This is #5 in a series of five copper wall art pieces created using actual leaves and plant forms.
Plants and chemicals are placed together on the copper, clamped, and left for several days. When I return and reveal the piece, the results are always a surprise. Look closely and you’ll see impressions created by the plants:fossil-like forms, subtle textures, and organic marks left behind through the patina process.
